Middle Eastern swords differ from their European counterparts in their characteristically curved blades. The scimitars of Arabia and Persia, therefore, have a design that is both dramatic and exotic, qualities we all look for in our weaponry as well as our decorations. Many of these swords could have come straight out of Arabian Nights, good enough to have been wielded by the great Sinbad himself.
